MIssion Statement

The Henderson Law Firm
helps its clients to proceed with their chosen projects consistent with law and regulation.  Before attending law school, Andy Henderson helped to develop and construct homes on an offshore, barrier island.  Most of Henderson's 31 years of legal experience involves real estate development, entitlements, regulatory approvals, disputes, and environmental law.  In light of this experience: The Henderson Law Firm's primary mission is to assist clients concerning the ownership, development, redevelopment and transfer of real property.

The second part of Henderson's mission is to resolve clients' conflicts – when necessary, through litigation, arbitration or mediation.  Henderson has a decade of litigation experience, including prosecuting trials for plaintiffs in federal and state civil courts, obtaining writs of mandate, arguing before state and federal appellate courts, and arguing before the Supreme Court of the United States.  When Henderson represents clients facing adversity, his aim is to get them back to their chosen work as soon and successfully as possible. Henderson utilizes alternative dispute resolution processes like mediation when practical, so that parties can avoid the delay and expense of litigation.

The third component of Henderson's mission is to counsel his clients concerning business law generally: business formation, governance, and compliance.  Henderson has an undergraduate degree in business and commerce and a Master's Degree in Business Taxation, which combine with his transactional legal experience to allow him to counsel clients concerning a wide range of legal and business issues, including employment law.
